Solid professor, bruin walk reviews may have over hyped him but definitely a very kind, knowledgeable guy. I had him the first quarter we were back in person, which I think is why there were some issues (second midterm was way too hard), but overall he's very fair. The material itself is not easy, but Harrop-Griffiths is probably the best way to learn it. Definitely study and do your hw!
One of the best professors I've had at UCLA
Great professor with really great lectures. Test were relatively simple and were based off of lecture notes.
So long as you do the homework and practice exams (and understand them) you will get an A. Professor is very easy to understand, and does a good job at explaining concepts at a good pace, and made the exams very fair. Plus nice accent. Would highly recommend taking with Harrop-Griffiths.
