Mark Huppin is the best professor at UCLA -- you should take all of the classes he offers. Legal Comm is a really fun intro to a lot of great topics that I appreciated learning about when I first joined the Communication major. I would recommend paying close attention in lecture and completing all of the readings before tests and thought papers -- you will succeed in all of Huppin's classes if you do this. Definitely go to his office hours as well, he's super cool. (I'm inviting him to my wedding!)
