Really great teacher! Just make sure to follow up constantly in office hours throughout the duration of the group project for feedback.

Good class. Was a mix of introductory statistics + introduction to R. Full lecture videos published online. There is one exam during 8th/9th week, and a group project/instructor presentation at the end of the quarter.

The class givesa great introduction to data science where you are able to hit the ground running using actual data sets. The class group project is analyzing a data set to answer a question of your choosing that first must get approved. It took a lot of man hours for my group and I's project but overall we learned a lot about working with data and with R, I was able to use the knowledge I got from the class to work on independent projects after the fact. Highly Reccomend for data science.
