Professional Development for Emerging Economists II

Seminar, two hours. Enforced requisite: course 429A. Limited to Master of Applied Economics students. Designed to help students develop professional, communication, and presentation skills essential for success in professional business settings. Aids students in translating topics covered in other courses into language and format that is accessible to industry/non-academic settings. Students practice presenting for variety of professional audiences. Exploration of presentation skills, personal branding, salary negotiation, and interviewing techniques. Letter grading.
