Lectures were terrible - very unorganized and unclear. Prof Wu writes way too fast to allow students to actually understand what they're learning. On top of that, due to the TA strike, almost none of our homework got back to us, even until the final exam. The only good thing was that the exams were open note and very similar to the practice exams provided, so as long as you prepared them (solutions to the practice were posted last minute), you would do okay grade-wise.
It's a fair course. Exams are a little bit hard but the practice exams and homework questions are useful
Lectures were hard to follow, so I rarely went and chose to just read the posted notes instead. Most of the learning for me was done in discussion. Homeworks were pretty easy for an upper division math class.
Final was only on the second half of the course material and you can drop the midterm. Further, the second half material for this class is very easy. Interesting choice by the professor, but my grade thanks him for it.
Prof Wu is not as bad as the other comment says. His class can be disorganized and confusing, but if you are willing to go to his office hour and spend time reading his note you can understand what he's trying to present. Although midterms are challenging, his homework and final are pretty chill. Only the conclusions will be tested on the exam, so you'll be fine if you have a detailed cheatsheet.
