i love amber reilly <3 she is the nicest
Her lectures are somewhat disorganized but she gives lots of practice materials. Her practice exams are similar format to the exam, but it is still extremely hard.
Her lectures were really organized. However, I had to email her multiple times to post different materials and her grading is also very slow. The midterms were reasonable but the final was extremely hard. She is also not very transparent with the curving of the class and final grades so the course grade can be a big surprise. I would recommend not taking this professor if you like keeping up with the class material as she posts stuff very late.
Lectures were decent, but exams were quite challenging.
Reilly is an amazing teacher and was always very organized and open to helping students. The material is definitely challenging but it is manageable if you form a study group and go through a LOT of practice. Expect her exams to be VERY similar to the practice ones but with a little surprise in them. Overall I found the class very interesting and worth spending the time learning.
I do feel like it was difficult to grasp the content but the class was not easy. the professor was great
This class is very fast paced and content heavy! Make sure to stay on track and DO THE HOMEWORK — don’t cram the night before like so many do. It’s really not that complicated; just do the practice, even though it’s optional. You need to pace yourself otherwise you will be punished on the exams; otherwise, it’s a fun course overall, Reilly is a kind and funny instructor, and organic chemistry ends up being very interesting.
Great lecturer, very nice person, but tests were incredible unreasonable and difficult to the point where we had to learn new concepts on the midterms and final.
