Professor Peng is great. I was worried coming into this class because I considered myself weak in machine learning despite having taken ML and data science courses at ucla, but she made these complex concepts easy to understand. I feel like have a better understanding of both ML and NLP after taking this class. Definitely an interesting class and I highly recommend taking it. I felt that the homeworks and exams were fair and based off the lectures.
