Laboratory, four hours. Corequisite: course 150. Genetics is most diverse and most inclusive of biological sciences. Fields as divergent as medicine and evolution require understanding of fundamental concepts of heredity as they apply to individuals and populations, and skills to ask and answer questions using genetic techniques. Letter grading.
