Speech and Image Processing Systems Design
Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour; laboratory, two hours; outside study, six hours. Enforced requisite: course 113. Design principles of speech and image processing systems. Speech production, analysis, and modeling in first half of course; design techniques for image enhancement, filtering, and transformation in second half. Lectures supplemented by laboratory implementation of speech and image processing tasks. Letter grading.
