Cultural and Social Contexts of Language Learning and Teaching

Seminar, three hours; teaching practice, two hours. Training and supervised Asian language practicum in form of in-person, online, and/or peer-based instructional activities for MA students training to become language instructors at K-12 or postsecondary level. Activities include instruction, tutorial, assessment, material development, and other professional practices, with goal for students to gain actual experience on campus and in community-based language educational settings. S/U or letter grading.
