Sehat is a great professor. His lectures are well-prepared, and he has a wealth of knowledge on the topics he teaches in the class. My only complaint is that too much of lecture time was spent on paper presentations and not enough on going into more depth on the technical aspects of secure computer systems (like more on how TPMs work).

The workload for the course was very light - initially writing a review of two research papers per week, later reduced to only one, and presenting one of the papers on some week as a group. Instead of midterms and finals, there were three non-cumulative quizzes (which were moderately hard, but graded generously) and two mini projects that were easy to complete.

Quite honestly, the paper presentations took up about half of the lecture time and were simply just boring. I would have preferred fewer presentations and instead covering more topics in lecture.
