Branstetter is the best PS professor. This class is great.

This class can be asynchronous, since attendance is not mandatory and he always has a Zoom/recording option for lectures; we were graded on a handful of (very short and easy) reading quizzes throughout the quarter and a midterm and final, both of which were take-home writing assignments with around 8 short answer and one short essay question that had to be answered. The material is fascinating, and Professor Branstetter is a fantastic lecturer; he is one of the nicest people I have ever met and his lecture style is very engaging. He is also very transparent about grading; it should be easy to get a good grade in this class. I would recommend it to anyone, not just Poli Sci majors.
