Lectures, seminars, and discussions on aspects of biomedical device and therapeutic design, including topics such as need finding, intellectual property, entrepreneurship, regulation, and project management. Working in teams, students develop innovative solutions to address current problems in medicine and biology. Sourcing and ordering of materials and supplies relevant to student projects. Exploration of different experimental and computational methods. Scientific presentation of progress. Letter grading.
