Introduction to scientific and technological bases for established and emerging subfields of bioengineering, including biosensors, bioinstrumentation, and biosignal processing, biomechanics, biomaterials, tissue engineering, biotechnology, biological imaging, biomedical optics and lasers, neuroengineering, and biomolecular machines. Letter grading.

    This class was very straightforward. There were no exams but we had to write several shorter papers during the quarter and one large final paper during finals week. I don't feel that I learned very much but it was enjoyable.
