    Quarter Taken: Fall 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

Grade was fully dependent on 10 500-700 word "essays" that needed to be extremely information-dense, and highly dependent on your TA. I was lucky and had a TA that was reasonable and gave feedback, but others had stricter TAs that were hard to get answers from. Definitely attend discussions because this is where the TA tells you what they expect in your essays, due later that same day. Highly recommend skimming the textbook after lecture (don't buy it - you can find it online as a combo version) for details that you can include in your essays, but supplemental readings are basically optional.

Decent class, Duthie seems pretty interesting and discusses content that are related to the weekly prompts. TAs do pretty much all the grading, so try to get on their good side.

Essay per week around 500-700 words but pretty simple - grade dependent on TA however.

Quizzes are quite time consuming, especially since the professor gives multiple attempts.

    Quarter Taken: Fall 2023 In-Person
    Grade: A

The professor was great. The only hard part of the class was the quizzes which were 60% of your grade. Fortunately, you get 3 tries and the professor is usually pretty lenient in giving retakes.
