    Quarter Taken: Spring 2023 In-Person
    Grade: A

Really enjoyed Film 33 with Prof. Pat and TA Angela. Only one 3-hour lecture each week with an easy reflection essay. Pretty much depends on how good your TA is, and Angela was top-tier. She really helped make the class interactive and was super supportive.

There were also a few regulars in the class who always chipped in, so it never felt awkward or too quiet. Grading was chill, just needed to put in like 2 hours of work outside of class each week and you're good for an A.

Course material was cool too, focusing on story construction and screenplay stuff. Screenplay formatting was a bit tricky, but doable. Just be aware that the class experience can vary a lot based on the TA you get. All in all, solid class, would recommend!

Pretty chill class. The final is a screenplay which was pretty easy since you get to work on it for the whole quarter.

Even though this class was asynchronous, I got a lot out of it and thoroughly enjoyed it overall. The films we watched were very engaging, and I liked putting in the work for the class. Professor Verducci also offers 3 extra credit sessions throughout the quarter which not only boosted my grade but taught me a lot about screenwriting techniques. If you are looking for a pre-req for the Film TV minor/major or just enjoy screenwriting in general, I would highly recommend taking this class.
