Please take this course with Professor Pham. Hands down one of the greatest professors to exist.
This class was really easy. His exams were just like his practice exams (he gave us so many old tests). Just do the problems over and over again. Attendance is recorded through iClicker. You don’t need to be present, but answer the clicker questions.
I liked how engaging the lectures were. The tests only contained questions from lecture and discussion. I received the grade I expected. I learned what I expected from this class, as well as some more.

Pham is awesome, just do the work, show up in class for the clickers, and you'll do great. The exams are exactly like the practice exams he posts. After every exam there's also an exam wrapper/mini-quiz you can do to earn points back on your exam if you missed points.

Lectures were mandatory with iClicker, but really useful. Pham answers any and all questions and is generally super nice. Tests are more than fair, and completely online. 3 hours over a period of 12 hours, very fair timing.
He is a great lecturer. The exams are very reasonable. If you get the chance to take it with him online during the summer, do it!
This class was pretty disorganized and could be a lot of work, wish there were more mechanistic discussions.
Pham is by far one of my favorite professors. He is so passionate about the subject and really engaging. Midterm 1 was easy and basically a review of LS7B, but midterm 2 was definitely harder (but still very doable). Exams were fair with 5 possible points of extra credit for each midterm in the form of 2 bonus questions and 10 possible points of extra credit for the final. I got an A- because I slacked off for midterm 2 and the final so as long as you put in some effort, you should be good.
