Seminar, three hours; outside study, nine hours. History and practice of music in and as activism. Artist-run labels and collectives, social justice organizing and media, art and activism in both entrepreneurial and non-profit settings. Students develop and execute music-related business plan with social awareness and potential for measurable impact. P/NP or letter grading.
