Reviews

    Quarter Taken: Spring 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

This class ended up being pretty easy workload-wise, but the entire thing is based on a long group project. You're fairly randomly assigned a group in your section, and you have the whole quarter to do a qualitative research podcast project that involves interviewing a subject and going to an observation site. It ended up being graded fairly leniently, but I'm sure it all depends on the group you get. The readings were annoying and extremely academic and wordy. We were required to do Perussal anotations for half of them, and any extra was extra credit. Attendance was taken every lecture. It was required for the major, and at the end of the day, wasn't the end of the world, but I didn't find lectures or course material engaging after the first two weeks.
