Reviews

    Quarter Taken: Fall 2016 In-Person
    Grade: A

Professor Huhtamo is great. Definitely go to office hours if you can, because his office has tons of cool design objects in it and he's super interesting to talk to.

DESMA 10 is a pretty easy GE. There's no tests, just 2 papers. The "final" paper can be done in a group. Grading is pretty TA dependent, but most people get A's. There are a couple of reading quizzers throughout the quarter, so you have to go to lecture and do the readings. The course itself doesn't teach you how to design, but is instead a "design history" class, about why design is important and how it has changed over time. Overall, a pretty fun GE.
