Super easy course; I would forget I was even taking it and still finish everything on time. Online discussion once a week that you have to speak in.
Your grade very much depends on the TA. The mean/median for each assignment was rather on the lower side because of a few TAs who were notoriously harsh graders in an easier class. There are no midterms/finals; only discussion boards, participation, and larger assignments. As long as you answer the prompt exactly, you should be set. I don't think I did any of the readings or watched any lectures but I did try to participate every given moment in discussions.
This asynchronous class is well organized and has relatively straightforward assignments. There is not midterm or final, just four different assignments that you complete throughout the quarter. I highly recommend this course for a history GE.
super easy class, prof is super enthusiastic about the topics, did learn a lot of new things
