Don't really need to study that much if you took AP Physics 1A in high school. The tests are fair. Lectures are recorded and are very good, would recommend watching them. Homework can be a bit heavy at times.
His lectures were VERY clear and the tests were fair, maybe on the harder side tho? But I also took AP Physics in high school, and it was a review of the same material (mostly). Bauer is super helpful in office hours but I did find myself going to office hours every week after looking at the homework lol but it rlly helped me (I got a 66% of the first midterm and a 95% on the second one and a 90% on the final because I started to take the class more seriously after realizing I flopped the first midterm lol)
