Biochemical Reaction Engineering
Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour; outside study, seven hours. Enforced requisite: course 101C. Use of previously learned concepts of biophysical chemistry, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, and reaction kinetics to develop tools needed for technical design and economic analysis of biological reactors. May be concurrently scheduled with course CM215. Letter grading.
