Public Health Surveillance
Lecture, two hours. Requisites: course 100 or 200A, and Biostatistics 100A, or Public Health 200A and 200B. Overview of public health surveillance methodology, including (1) design, implementation, and evaluation of surveillance systems, (2) analysis and interpretation of surveillance data, and (3) application of surveillance methods to specific health-related outcomes. S/U or letter grading.
