Contrast Mechanisms and Quantification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Lecture, four hours. Requisite: course M219. Introduction to magnetic resonance contrast mechanisms and quantification techniques in magnetic resonance imaging. Topics include exogenous and endogenous contrast mechanisms, measuring tissue perfusion and permeability, advanced diffusion and q-space analysis, chemical exchange and magnetization transfer imaging, and relaxometry. Letter grading.
