Introduction to Transportation Engineering

General characteristics of transportation systems, including streets and highways, rail, transit, air, and water. Capacity considerations, including planning, design, and operations. Components of roadway design, including horizontal and vertical alignment, cross sections, and pavements. Letter grading.
