Examination of politics of health policy process through analysis of case studies such as environmental protection, pandemic preparedness and response, preventive health services for women, and racial and income inequality and health. Examination of framework for assessing evidence-based policy making and effects of political structure and current political divisions, including efforts such as to repeal and dismantle Affordable Care Act.
