Professor Kwon's lecturing style is fairly monotonous, and I don't think it was necessary to attend lecture as she mostly just recapped information from the readings. As long as you do the readings, attend discussion, and put effort into the papers, you'll do fine. There are also plenty of easy extra credit opportunities offered throughout the quarter.
