    Quarter Taken: Spring 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A+

This class was super informative and really shed light on the development of Asian American communities throughout history. The lectures and slides are posted but they are removed after 14 days. There was a large report due at the end of the quarter alongside the final, but in my experience, everything was doable as long as you allowed yourself enough time.

    Quarter Taken: Fall 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

I liked Fong a lot. She’s organized, fair, and the course was engaging. She did, however, not submit our final grades for the class until March 1st, which was 3 months late. So that was a little disappointing.

    Quarter Taken: Fall 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

Lots of reading, but Fong was super engaged during lecture and made everything really interesting. I learned a lot about a part of history that really isn't covered by a typical high school curriculum and did not regret taking the class at all. We did have a project in addition to a final, which was a roughly 6-ish page paper written after an interview with an Asian American, but it wasn't too bad if you managed your time properly.
