Music Aesthetics, Analysis, and Philosophy

Seminar, three hours. Designed for graduate musicology, ethnomusicology, and music students. Exploration of selected philosophical, aesthetic, and/or analytical perspectives on music to gain insight into selected analytical and philosophical approaches to phenomenon of music and to acquire skills in analyzing and interpreting variety of repertoires.
