Introduction to modeling dynamics of ecological systems, including formulation and analysis of mathematical models, basic techniques of scientific programming, probability and stochastic modeling, and methods to relate models to data. Examples from ecology but techniques and principles applicable throughout life and physical sciences. Concurrently scheduled with course C119A. S/U or letter grading.
