Basic aspects of plant function, including photochemical, biochemical, and physiological aspects of photosynthesis. Carbon and nitrogen metabolism and its regulation; organellar interactions and compartmentation. Water relations, ion transport, flowering, hormone action, and plant responses to stress. Letter grading.
