Writing for Public Speaking

Lecture, four hours. Requisites: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement, course 3. Emphasis on careful preparation, rehearsal, and delivery of professional presentations including design of effective visuals in variety of multimodal forms. Student performances videorecorded for extensive self, peer, and instructor feedback. P/NP or letter grading.

    Loved this class and Darien! It's definitely more of a public speaking class than a writing speeches sort of class, which I wasn't expecting. He made the topic super fun and stress free and graded everything very leniently. Lots of little public speaking activities. We gave four speeches in class that we had to outline and did a small podcast project. Highly recommend
