Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Requisites: course 4W (or 4HW or 4WS), English Composition 3. Not open for credit to students with credit for course 110T. Improvement and refinement of writing about literature. Focus on writing as process, rewriting, and argument; minimum 15 to 20 pages of writing required. May not be repeated for credit. P/NP or letter grading.
