(Same as African American Studies M115.) Seminar, four hours. Learning from and building on Black labor and community organizing traditions, students develop skills and mindsets needed for transformative leadership. Students connect with leaders of community organizations, student organizers, and prepare for more intensive community-based work. P/NP or letter grading.
