Finance and Accounting in Music Industry II

Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 10A. Introduction to how money works in both nonprofit and for-profit music industries, including practical management of funds, budgeting (including tour budgets), fee scales, servicing agreements, issues pertaining to trade unions, and various modes of accounting for salary, royalties, local and international taxation, streaming revenues, licensing payments, and other income and expenditure. Letter grading.
