    Quarter Taken: Fall 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

The prof was very energetic about the content of his lectures and they always connected back to the concept of one's cultural identity. He was also very good at working with students to become better writers in general, and not just for his class.

    Quarter Taken: Winter 2023 In-Person
    Grade: A

This class was great! While not necessarily an 'easy GE', it was very interesting and Professor Wang is an engaging lecturer. He's very insightful and passionate about the topic, which makes lectures more enjoyable. There is a hefty amount of reading, but you can honestly get by by skimming the majority of it and focusing on the parts you're asked about. If you're not interested in Korean Civilization/Culture, this class might be more of a slog to get through, but if you are interested it's definitely worth taking!
