Seminar, three hours. Requisite: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement. First years and sophomores preferred. Exploration of concepts and frameworks relating to the school of Black studies. Examination of works of literature and multimedia forms that ruminate on questions pertaining to race, politics, culture, and the intricate relationship between life and death. Letter grading.
