Seminar, three hours. Requisite: English Composition 3. First years and sophomores preferred. Engages challenging issues of social resilience and collapse from archeological perspective. Discussion of fundamental concepts, range of alternative analytical models, and case studies of the collapse of ancient societies and civilization. Satisfies Writing II requirement. Letter grading.
