Seminar, three hours; fieldwork, eight hours. Requisite: course 204A. Intermediate game theory course. Topics include games of incomplete information, cheap talk games, and bargaining theory. Applications concern political participation, public goods, legislatures, bureaucracies, conflict, and communication. Designed to help students use game theory in their research.
