Lecture, three hours; discussion, two hours. Requisite: course 1 with grade of C or better. Not open to students who have learned enough Indonesian to qualify for more advanced courses. Coverage of basic Indonesian grammar, with equal emphasis on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. P/NP or letter grading.
