Time-varying fields and Maxwell equations, plane wave propagation and interaction with media, energy flow and Poynting vector, guided waves in waveguides, phase and group velocity, radiation and antennas. Reviews
Definitely read the recommended readings before lecture because I find them to be quite confusing as Prof. Jarrahi seems to just write stuff on the whiteboard without clarifying what exactly is writing about. The textbook is quite good actually, and helps with HW a lot. Midterm wasn't too bad, and as such the final was a lot harder.
Class felt like it was pure derivations.
