(Same as Chicana/o and Central American Studies M289.) Seminar, three hours. Intensive research and study of major themes, authors, and issues in Chicana/Chicano literature and culture. Examination of political, aesthetic, economic, and cultural context that emerges in Chicana/Chicano discourse; limits of investigation set by individual instructor. May be repeated for credit.
