(Same as Electrical and Computer Engineering M185.) Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour; outside study, eight hours. Requisite: course 110A or Electrical and Computer Engineering 101A. Senior-level introductory course on electrodynamics of ionized gases and applications to materials processing, generation of coherent radiation and particle beams, and renewable energy sources.
