Studio, two to three hours. Designed for Theater majors. Exploration of text and lyrics of musical theater piece, song cycle, or specific composer's work from actors' point of view. Students develop skills in research, character observation, and improvisation. Emphasis on creating and sustaining character through singing. Letter grading.
