Foundations for teaching jazz by development of understanding of curriculum, rehearsal techniques, improvisation, and uses of technology in jazz education. Technology understanding includes basic concepts of sequencing, composition, ensemble performance, and creation of multimedia presentations using tablet (iPad) technology. Letter grading.
