Lecture, four hours; discussion, two hours. Requisites: course 107, Chemistry 14C or 30A, Life Sciences 7A, 7B, 7C, Physics 1B or 5C or 6B. Students must receive grade of C or better to proceed to next course in series. Introduction to principles of muscular and neural physiology, including factors controlling membrane excitability, neuronal circuits, sensorimotor regulation, special senses, cortical functions, and neuronal plasticity.
