Lecture, three hours. Enforced requisite: course 6 with grade of C or better or Vietnamese placement test. Designed to strengthen and build on language skills previously acquired at beginning and intermediate levels. Content-based readings and discussion, with various aspects of Vietnam, particularly its culture. Readings include both authentic original works and simplified texts. Each course may be taken independently for credit. P/NP or letter grading.
