Reviews
Although the reviews on Bruinwalk made me skeptical, this class was great. I was forced to take this class since my concentration is American politics, and nothing else was opened. Other than the midterm and final, there were quizzes based on the readings. The quizzes were more challenging than the readings. Sometimes, he would add (what felt like) random details from the readings/lectures that were on the quizzes. However, he did drop the two lowest scores, which was nice. Discussion participation was extra credit, which I enjoyed. Not to mention, this extra credit was not something small (like a point or 2), but if you participated enough, it would raise you a whole letter grade. Just attend office hours at least once before the midterm/final, read the assigned readings, and you're good. Easy A!
