Biology of HIV
Lecture, three hours. Preparation: two biology courses. Requisites: course 100 and Biostatistics 100A, or Public Health 200A and 200B. Overview of virologic and immunologic aspects of HIV disease for epidemiology or other health disciplines. Brief discussion of clinical manifestations and biosafety in laboratory. Letter grading.
